Molding Engineer with experience in injection molding process, workflows, and production equipment in medical devices or pharmaceutical industries. Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise in mold set-ups and/or changes in a timely manager according to the production. Performs all prerequisites for shutdown and starting a production tool. Properly document all process-related data and responsible for process troubleshooting and start-ups as required. Anticipates set-ups and/or job changes and ensures all equipment, material, etc. for the next scheduled job are prepared and ready prior to starting the actual set-up change. Support process improvements, cost reductions/savings, scrap reductions, etc. through the implementation of lean concepts. Manipulation of machine controls to achieve desired parameters using established process control methods.
