An exercise in tropical modernism with restrained brutalist undertones, this sand-level residence in Surfside at Palmas del Mar was conceived with a clear architectural point of view. Exposed concrete, natural wood, stone, and expansive glass create a structure that is intentional, textural, and quietly powerful. Within Palmas del Mar—where most homes sit elevated above the coastline—only a select few are positioned directly at the level of the sand. This is one of them. Set beside a discreet cove known primarily to neighboring residents, the home exists in immediate relationship to the Atlantic. The ocean is not a distant backdrop; it is a constant presence—audible, palpable, and steps away. Upper terraces capture glimpses of blue beyond the palms. Inside, dramatic double-height volumes wrapped in glass invite shifting light across raw concrete surfaces. A sculptural natural wood staircase anchors the main living space. The kitchen integrates paneled appliances and porcelain slab countertops within a restrained architectural palette. The main residence offers three en-suite bedrooms with walk-in closets, including a spacious primary suite with private terrace access.
